Default PvP Prot Monk Refresher

This monk build is extremely durable if you play it right:

Mo/N

Divine Boon
Protective Spirit
Mend Ailment
Reversal of Fortune
Guardian
Divine Spirit
Offering of Blood
Res Sig

Take the FI boon pre build, and swap healing for prot, add some runes and equipment and you're done...

Just as a reminder, rend enchantments and desecrate enchants, as well as shutdowns will defeat this build, but as we all know... all builds have weaknesses.

Funny items of note:

Standing in the lava or poison makes mend work that much better on yourself, and pisses off the wars trying to kill you

I simply posted this as a refresher, since I didn't see many PvP Prot monk builds out there (Yeah, yeah, search button, what's that?)

You know there's a thing called the Fi Boon Protector... Boon+OoB with Guardian, Mend and RoF is pretty old indeed.

No there isn't, everyone just calls it Boon Prot.

It's pretty recent, as in the last patch.

Previous versions of it had the old Energy Drain and Hex Breaker, and maybe an Inspired Hex over the Smite Hex.

The thing you're likely referring to is the Fi Boon Healer, which is a premade.

The build is nice Vincent, just don't gimp it or confine it to random with that Res Sig.

my TA monk uses 5/8 of the same skills. Very similar indeed, and let me agree with the prev posters, boon/prot with blood indeed is decent

Hey that's my build too, apart from the divine spirit. Aegis ftw

Well atleast I got linked to a site telling the 3 monks used by Fianna at some point and yes there was a Fi Boon Prot in there. I got linked from TGH, I'd go and get it but the search engine isnt working for me. And the remark about everyone calling it the Boon Prot I don't get, it's not like anyone would say Fi Boon Healer, they just sa Boon Healer(or am I missing the point by far here?).
And yes, nice build.
